Pasteurized vs “fresh” wording
In Vietnam, sữa thanh trùng is pasteurized milk that must be refrigerated. It is not UHT. Expect shorter shelf life and better everyday drinking taste when handled correctly.
Sizes that work
180ml to try, 450ml for couples, 950ml for weekly home use. Keep a few UHT cartons for travel days.
Storage
Fridge 2–6°C. After opening, reseal and finish soon. Da Nang heat ruins milk left in a scooter basket.
